2025 – DOWN RUN

“The Ultimate Comrades Race Experience”

ConSports are proud to be able to assist so you, the runners of Comrades and we trust you will have a memorable run and achieve your goal whatever they may be.

BAGS

You will get 3 colour coded numbered bags as well as 1 tyvek numbered wrist band and colour coded water bottle tags for each point.

Support Point 1 – Approx 30km – Black bag

Support Point 2 – Approx 50km – Red Bag

Support Point 3 – Approx 70km – Green Bag

PRE RACE DAY:

Participating athletes drop off their required race items at The Onomo Hotel – Durban on Thursday, 5th and Friday 6th June 2025 between 9am and 4pm and Saturday, 7th June 2025 from 9am to 2pm.

– Place your items into the numbered, colour coded bags for each of the support points.

– Hand in your bottles with their tags for each point

 

RACE DAY:

  • Important – Ensure you have your tyvek wrist band, preferably on your right wrist.

  • Look out for our ConSports Red branded gazebo at each of the points above.

  • Upon approaching the support points, give the support crew your number that is on your wristband. They will have the bags lined up in number order and we have arranged the numbers based on your predicted finish times. We are aware that these are only indicated times and that anything can happen on the day.

  • The Race Support Crew will have a list of all runners and their numbers in the event that you have lost or forgotten your Tyvek wrist band and number.

  • If you have a bottle, please tell the support crew as these will be place in the cooler box if required.

  • Take you necessary items from the bag and place any unwanted items back in the bag and head off.

  • Do not waste unnecessary time at the gazebo. The clock continues when you are standing still

  • Your bag will be placed in the completed container and will be ready for you after the race on the Monday.

There will be a Branded Gazebo with 2 Shark Fin banners.
